Edward Pond is a Toronto-based director specializing in food, lifestyle, and commercial storytelling.

Over the past two decades, he has created work for many of North America’s leading food and consumer brands, with a style rooted in appetite, atmosphere, human behaviour, and authentic moments.

Edward is also hired as a cinematographer, collaborating with other directors on commercial projects that benefit from his deep experience in food and tabletop production.

He is currently directing Nothing to Fear, a documentary project exploring the role fear plays in our lives — from everyday anxieties to larger existential threats. Set for release in September 2026, it asks a simple question: Is fear good for us?
